TOP 7 THANKSGIVING FEASTS | NYC 2023

If you aren't doing the cooking thing this year, here's where you can grab some food on Thanksgiving.

1) Bad Roman

Bad Roman is one of the more unhinged new restaurants to open this year. Between the creamsicle color scheme, animal statues, and a full-on fountain, this Italian spot feels like it should be in Vegas, but it’s actually tucked into one corner of the Deutsche Bank Center (formerly the Time Warner Center). Expect an Italian-ish spread, featuring roasted turkey, sweet sausage and mushroom, and maple-glazed stuffing. It’ll run you $56 per person.

2) Twenty Three Grand

Twenty Three Grand features a garden vibe beneath a spectacular retractable pergola. For $135 per person, it’s three courses that includes breads, soup, turkey or prime rib or salmon, green beans, salad, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin or apple pie.

3) Koloman

Thanksgiving dinner is $165 ($105 for kids under 12) from noon to 8:30 p.m. The menu includes first course choices such as beef tartare or butternut squash; a second-course of salmon en croute or slow-roasted turkey; and desserts like apple strudel and chocolate fondant. At the bar, there’s an a la carte Thanksgiving dinner menu available, too.

4) Le Jardinier

For $195, it’s a three-course prix fixe at this Michelin-starred restaurant. Begin with a starter like Maine scallops with roasted pumpkin and lemongrass emulsion; or hiramasa, sweet potato and coconut, with grapes and sesame. Move on to turkey with cranberry coulis; king salmon with cauliflower; or risotto with squash, mushrooms and mimolette. Save room for pumpkin patch cheesecake mousse with candied ginger ice cream or pecan tart with maple ice cream.

5) Delmonico's

Delmonico’s opened in 1837—so basically when Thanksgiving was invented, give or take a couple centuries. This suit-and-tie steakhouse in Fidi looks like it could still belong to a time when curbstone brokers traded stocks on nearby corners, and it will impress any family members flying in for the holiday. This year, they’re offering a $145, three-course meal with turkey and a classic spread, as well as steakhouse sides and their best cuts of meat. This place is the sort of over-the-top place that usually hosts retired investment bankers, but we expect a warmer vibe during the holidays.

6) Verōnika

This Thanksgiving, indulge and come together for a feast at Veronika. Friends and family, rejoice over a decadent and extravagant prix fixe dinner starting at four o’clock in the afternoon.  A luxurious experience away from the dinner table at home, $160 per person ($65 per person for children under 12) prix fixe menu with choices and vegetarian options.

7) Temple Court

Tom Colicchio’s Temple Court at the Beekman Hotel invites guests in for a three-course feast on Thanksgiving day. The menu includes Narragansett turkey, roasted mushrooms, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy and more. It’s available from noon to 9 p.m., for $165 per person.

Happy Thanksgiving!
